2013 Ford Shelby GT500 was unveiled today, offering the world's most powerful production V8 engine. The 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 will be premiered at the 2011 LA Auto Show, and it will probably go on sale soon after. The new powerplant of the 2013 Shelby GT500 is a 5.8-liter V8 aluminum-block unit, with an output of 650 hp and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. Ford will announce the 2013 Shelby GT500 price at a later date.
Although it has mountains of power, Ford's 2013 Shelby GT500 is exempt from the gas-guzzler tax. To get the extra power, Ford uses an optimized supercharger, together with several other updates A larger cooling fan A fan shroud with high-speed pressure-relief doors A new charge air cooler - A higher-flow intercooler pump A 36% larger intercooler heat exchanger. 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Dashboard View.
Nearly the entire powertrain has been upgraded for 2013, including a new cross-drilled block and heads, updated camshaft profiles, a carbon fiber driveshaft and upgraded clutch, transmission and axle. The cooling system has also been upgraded, and the new six-speed manual transmission now has a final drive ratio of 3.31-to-1 optimized to handle the massive amounts of torque put down by the new engine.
The engine of the 2013 GT500 Shelby is mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a 3.31:1 final drive ratio. Ford's engineers chose less torque in favour of a lower fuel consumption. The new GT500 also comes with Brembo brakes, a Torsen limited-slip diff and a launch control function. The heart of the new Ford stunner is a 5.8-liter, aluminum-block V8, complete with a larger, more efficient supercharger.
Further enhancements can be had in the GT500 Performance Pack, which incorporates SVT-designed Blistein electronic adjustable dampers with 'normal' and 'sport' modes and a Torsen limited-slip differential. What's more, the Track Package adds an external engine oil cooler, rear differential cooler and transmission cooler. Like the current GT500, 19-inch wheels are standard up front (20-inch rollers are found out back).

2013 Hyundai HB20X will be powered by a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder flex-fuel engine that produces 128 horsepower (95 kW) mated with a choice of manual or automatic transmission. This model is only available as a front-wheel drive configuration. For body design, this model is based on the HB20 hatchback. The front has a totally redesigned bumper with a hexagonal grille that reflects Hyundai’s new family look for SUVs .
The headlights have an eye-catching finish with black bezel and chrome details, giving off a sporty and sophisticated image, while the fog lamps were redesigned to give a stronger impression. The side of the HB20X keeps the original waistline from HB20, which encompassed a robust and fluidic design. The novelties are the side black molding that wraps the whole body.
And its ground clearance, valuable features for more visibility and control on bad road conditions. The roof bars offer more flexibility for carrying extra weekend luggage, while the 15-inch dark gray alloy wheels complete the sporty image of this vehicle. The rear of the new Hyundai HB20X 2013 also has a redesigned bumper, with black moldings. The stylish rear lamps, already seen on the HB20.

All versions are equipped with a flex-fuel engine. The 1.0L model has three cylinders and gains in power due to reduced friction and better energy efficiency, leading to lower fuel consumption, a reduction in pollutant emissions and lower maintenance costs.

Suzuki Grand Vitara 2013

Suzuki Grand Vitara is simple, and clean, and after all these years, it's growing faint in memory. The balanced look offends no one; it's no Compass. The interior's a fine place to work, with well-grained plastics and tight-fitting pieces, like the ones we've complimented in the Kizashi sedan and other Suzuki products. The cabin's a few steps ahead of the small Jeeps, the CR-V, and the equal of the Subaru.
There's a single engine offered in the Grand Vitara, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 166 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. It's paired with either a five-speed manual or an ancient four-speed automatic, and comes in either rear-drive or four-wheel-drive form. As such, it's no more than adequate in acceleration, and highway fuel economy is in the low to mid-20s once very good numbers.
Now hugely behind the curve set by the latest Escape and CR-V.Handling is fair, meaning you won't find much to complain about in ride quality (though choppy pavement can be troublesome), but you won't be attacking a canyon road in the Grand Vitara either. In the Limited model, an upgraded 4-mode 4WD system is available, further improving off-road ability with high and low transfer gear ratios.
The Grand Vitara's cabin is long, providing good leg room at all positions, but narrow, meaning shoulder room in the back seat is scarce and cargo room is disappointing. The side-opening tail gate doesn't help the cargo-area's utility, either, putting the Grand Vitara toward the back of the class in this regard. Safety gear is a hit-and-miss affair: all the expected standard equipment, including front side.
The Grand Vitara SUV comes with a 2.4 Liter, four cylinder petrol engine that puts out a peak power of 165 Bhp with peak torque rated at 225 Nm. The highlights of this naturally aspirated petrol engine are the variable valve technology and the drive-by-wire system. Indians love their SUVs, albeit with a diesel engine powering them. This crucial bit is where the Grand Vitara differs in and therefore has struggled to find takers.

Renault Clio 2013

The new Clio's cabin looks more premium and is distinguished by its chic styling and interesting details such as a pair of deeply set instrument panel gauges and a large screen for the infotaintment and navigation system on the center console, which may or may not be standard on all models. The 'Le Moniteur Automobile' website that posted these images says that Renault's Ford Fiesta and Fiat Punto rival will be available with several engines.
These include a new 0.9-liter three-cylinder turbocharged Energy TCe petrol delivering 89hp (90PS) and 135Nm (100 lb-ft) of peak torque with an average fuel consumption of 4.3lt/100km (54.7 mpg US or 65.7 mpg UK) and CO2 emissions of just 99g/km. There's also a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel (Energy dCi 90) with 89hp (90PS), which is good for a combined fuel consumption of just 3.2lt/100km (73.5 mpg US or 88.3 mpg UK).
Following this morning's leaked images, Renault has decided to reveal the 2013 Clio earlier. The fourth generation of the Renault Clio (2013) is going to have its world debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, before going to sale next year. Renault changed the exterior design of the 2013 Clio completely. The inspiration for the new styling comes from the DeZir concept, which made quite an impression when it was unveiled.
The 2013 Renault Clio will be sold with a choice between three engines, including the French carmaker's first three-cylinder turbocharged petrol (0.9-litre TCe 90). The other two units are the 1.2 TCe 120 and the diesel 1.5 dCi 90. The 2013 Clio TCe 120 is equipped with the 6-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) transmission, which is the first of its kind in the B segment. In terms of technology, the 2013 Renault Clio comes with a rear parking camera, R-Link integrated, and an Internet connected touchscreen tablet.
The R-Link is the industry's first-ever Application Store for cars. Apart from being 100 kg lighter than the Clio Mk3, the 2013 model is also offering a wider range of personalization options. The interior highlights of the new Clio (2013) include various chrome and gloss-black trim parts, and a digital speedometer. Most of the interior trim parts are customizable. The R-Link, which is standard from Dynamique upwards, includes a seven-inch (18cm) touchscreen.
